Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Team-AI, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Team-AI is an independent project — not operated by or affiliated with Anthropic, GitHub, or Google — and is currently offered in preview on a best-effort basis.

1. What Team-AI does

Team-AI is a multi-agent orchestration platform that uses the Claude API (with your own Anthropic API key) to generate source code and push it to a GitHub repository you authorize. Agents may run build commands (npm install, tests, etc.) on our infrastructure as part of validation. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting all generated code before merging it.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials and OAuth tokens secret.
• One person per account. Shared or bot accounts aren't allowed.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account.

3. Your Anthropic API key

• You bring your own Anthropic API key. You are billed by Anthropic directly for all API usage, including background rework rounds triggered by the Integration Validator.
• You are responsible for the cost, rate limits, and any quota you configure on your Anthropic account.
• Your use of the Claude API is subject to Anthropic's Commercial Terms and Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy. These take precedence for anything Claude-specific.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Team-AI (nor instruct agents on your behalf) to:

• Generate malware, phishing kits, credential stealers, or any code intended to harm third parties or their systems.
• Generate content that infringes others' copyright, trademark, or patents.
• Violate Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy.
• Scrape, resell, or make automated use of the platform in ways that interfere with other users.
• Attempt to extract other users' data, project artifacts, or API keys.
• Circumvent rate limits or security controls.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Generated code — your responsibility

• Code generated by the agents is provided as-is. It may contain bugs, security vulnerabilities, or licensing issues. Review every pull request before merging or deploying.
• The Integration Validator runs builds and tests, but passing those checks is not a guarantee the code is correct, secure, or fit for purpose.
• You own the code the agents write under your account (subject to Anthropic's API terms about output).
• We do not warrant that generated code is free of third-party license conflicts — run your own license review before production use.

6. Service availability

Team-AI is in preview. We do not commit to any uptime SLA. The service can change, be paused, or be discontinued at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice for major changes.

7. No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or accuracy of agent output.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Team-AI and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service — including lost profits, lost data, corrupted code, unintended API spend on your Anthropic account, or damage caused by deploying generated code to your own infrastructure.

9. Third-party services

Team-AI relies on third parties: Anthropic (Claude API), GitHub (repositories and OAuth), Google (optional sign-in), and Railway (hosting). Their terms and availability govern their portions of the experience. Outages or policy changes on those services affect what Team-AI can do.

10. Intellectual property

• The Team-AI platform code, name, and design are owned by the project maintainers.
• "Claude" is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. Team-AI uses the Claude API but is not an Anthropic product and does not represent Anthropic.
• You retain ownership of the project descriptions you submit and the code generated for you. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that content as needed to operate the platform.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, for abuse, or because the service is being discontinued. After termination, we delete your account data, except where retention is required by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we update the "last updated" date. Material changes will be surfaced in the dashboard when feasible. Continued use after an update counts as acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are interpreted under the laws of the jurisdiction where the project maintainers operate. Disputes are resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer law gives you another forum.
